About Me

I was born in 1970 in the North East of England and now live near Llanddeusant in the Brecon Beacons National Park, South Wales.

I have worked as sculptor full time for 20 years, prior to which I followed a career in science. I have always enjoyed inventing and making, creation and innovation have been life-long passions. I also enjoy the challenge of taking everyday objects and reinterpreting them in new and unexpected contexts.

All these elements are expressed strongly in my metal sculptures. These are completely original, unique, intriguing and always immediately identifiable as my work.

My medium of choice is steel, frequently bicycle parts, using welding as the primary joining technique. My work is figurative and abstract, indoor & outdoor. It includes the human body and wildlife as subjects.

I have exhibited my work widely at outdoor art exhibitions and Art Galleries. Venues include
